The next few weeks were hard for me. I was so used to waking up with Nick next to me. Even though nothing major sexually really happened between us yet, I missed him having his arm around me. I tried to concentrate in class but all I could think about was him. Even though he called me every other day and emailed me everyday, even if it was one line that read "I love you my babylove" when he didn't have enough time to write more, he still wrote.
But when Thanksgiving weekend finally came I was so excited. Nick was coming. The Tuesday before Thanksgiving I came home from class and ran into the house.
"Mom I need to go pick up Nick in a half-hour!" I yelled then ran up the stairs. I opened the door to my room and I was shocked. There he was on my bed..................
"NICK!!!" I yelled then ran in to his arms. "OH I missed you so much!" He hugged me back so tight.
"I missed you too. The guys got sick of me cause all I talked about was you." He laughed. He then kissed me. Oh how I missed that. This was a nice surprise. He told me how he switched his flight and my folks picked him up early to surprise me. We stayed in my room and talk for hours on what was happening in each other's lives. He also told me on how after Thanksgiving the guys were gonna be in NYC for photo shoots before finishing their tour. This was fine with me. Nick stayed with me that whole week and a half they were in NY. I went to the shoots and everything.
Again he had to leave but the tour ended a few days before Christmas and I got out of college a few days before as well. I flew down to spend my month off with him. I went to photo shoots and a video shoot which I got to help out in. Which was cool cause I want to be a director of music videos someday.
In that month we were together we almost forgot about Rick being out there somewhere because of all the stuff we did together. I always have so much fun when I'm with Nick. Nothing else in the world matters. But the vacation too came to an end but before I left I gave Nick his 21st B-day gift.
"Here sweetie. I got you something. Happy 21!" I said smiling.
"AW you shouldnt have" he said. I smiled as he opened the box. He laughed.
"What?" I said knowing full well what he was laughing at.
"A Rangers Jersey?" He said.
"Yea. I was hoping to get you on our side. Keep going." I said wanting him to find what was underneath.
"Oh wow!" He stated when he found the 24-kt chain and pennant in the box. I had on it 'Rachel's Shining Star'. "Rachel this is amazing. I love it!" He stated then gave me a big kiss. "I love you so much!"
"I love you too." I smiled. I was happy. No words to explain what I felt at that moment. Who knew that our past would come back once again.
