The little boy cowered in the corner. He was shaking and scared. 'Oh my God, He's coming he thought as tears ran down his face. Just then the door swung open and barging in came his step father who was nearly 6 times the boys size. He went over to the shaking boy and easily picked him up. He pinned the boy against the wall. The boys' head hitting the wall. He knew better not to squirm because it only made things worse for him.

"WHY DO YOU WANT TO PISS ME OFF YOU LITTLE SHIT!" his step father yelled. The boy could smell the beer on the man's breath. The boy had done nothing wrong but that didn't matter when his step father was drunk.

He kept yelling obstinacies and put downs at the boy. Then the first punch came. Then another. He threw the boy to the floor and the boy tried to crawl away but to no avail. His step farther reached him and hit him again. The boy stopped moving in hopes the drunk man would stop.

Eventually he left the boy alone and left the room. The boy stayed on the floor until he heard the door to his step fathers room close. The boy then slowly got up and quietly and quickly went in to the bathroom to clean up. He then returned to his room and went to bed. He was in severe pain but he dare not cry out loud because then HE would hear it and beat him more. The boy just laid down in bed as silent tears rolled down his face.
