"Nick wake up! We gotta go!" Brian yelled to the youngest band mate. The 13-year-old groaned.
"Brian I want to sleep!" He whined
"No! Come on we can't leave the station waiting." Brian said getting irritated Nick didn't move. Brian was getting annoyed fast. This was the first appearance for the Backstreet Boys and 17 year-old Brian didn't need young Nick goofing it up.
"NICK LETS GO!" Brian yelled. Nick slowly got up and went into the bathroom grumbling the whole way.
Nick peeled off his t-shirt. He turned around and accidentally looked in the mirror. He cringed. The scares were still there. He quickly put another shirt on and changed his pants then walked out of the bathroom. The two boys walked into the lobby where the others were waiting.
"About time!" Kevin said angrily when he saw Nick and Brian.
"Kevin calm down. Nick is still new at this." Brian said calmly
"Well he better get used to it." Kevin said walking out of the hotel and in to the van. The others followed close behind. Nick walked with his head down. Brian came up to him and put his arm around him.
"It'll be ok Nick." He said quietly. Nick got in the van and sat next to AJ and Howie the last 2 members of the group. Nick has known Howie and AJ for a few years but he just met Brian and Kevin a few months ago. He liked Kevin but Kevin scared him when he got mad. Nick was scared Kevin would hit him.
The group doesn't know about his stepfather and he planned to keep it that way. The last time Nick was hit was 2 days before he left with the band for the mini tour. That was 2 months ago. Those bruises had healed and no one knew cause his face had been fine and he wore long sleeves and pants to hide the rest.
This was the first actual appearance for the Boys because the past two months were spent learning songs and dance moves then for a month they will travel around the country to try and gain a fan base. But then they had some down time and Nick would have to go back to HIM. But until then he would enjoy being away.
The past two months had been fun for the most part but the times when Kevin got upset at the guys for not trying, thats what scared Nick. He would kind of cower behind one of the guys but since it was suddle, no one really noticed. That and he was almost caught with no shirt on. That would have been bad because then he would have to explain the marks on his body. But other then that it was fun.
Nick and Brian walked into their hotel room at 9pm that night after a long day. Brain agreed to share with Nick because of two reasons, Nick was only 13 and Brian for some reason really liked the kid. Nick went to get changed then hopped into bed. Brian could tell something was wrong but Nick didn't spill anything. During the day he was a hyper lively kid but at night he got real quiet. What also caught Brians attention was how Nick gets scared when Kevin yells. Yea it was intimidating but not that scary. Brian said to himself that he would find out what was bothering Nick.
