Nobody had seen it coming. The world was now a different place. After 9/11/2001, the world tried to fight terrorism and no one knew that the Talaban had gotten hold of the nuclear weapons until it was to late. In July of 2003, they launched the missiles that they stole and hit the main capitols of the world. That was the end of life, as people knew it. The Talaban is now the world order. The war had changed everything and even the good old United States of America was affected.
The people reverted back to the time of masters, slaves and outcasts even though the year was 2005. In this world there was no celebrities, television, and radio was only used as communication between the new police force. Even though the occasional radios were used to free slaves and to help outcasts go to the one place left where people were free and the new system was not in affect. Long Island, New York (real place for those who don't know..lol...I live here). Since it was an island and the bridges were destroyed in the war no one wanted to bother with it. What was left of the USA government was on this island. People from all over the world wanted to get there but only a fraction of that ever made it.

He worked with out a word. He learned early to be quiet while doing his work in fear of what would happen to him. Ever since the end of the war he has been working for Master Jahed. He wondered what happened to his family and friends and if they were ok.
When he and his family found out about the new system on TV, to come to think of it that was the last time he watched TV, anyway after him and his family found out they called the other guys and their families. They decided to get together and hide in a place that no one knew about except for the five guys. They brought their families with them. They were actually able to hide there for a week until they were found.
That was the worst day of his life. Everyone was taken away from him and what keeps him going is the hope that he would see anyone of them again. After they were found, they were sent to be sold into slavery. He was the first after one of his other band mates to go because of how strong he was. The bidding for him went up in to the thousands before the bidding stopped at 12,000 dollars. That was the last time he saw his family and friends, crying as he was taken away.
That first night with his new "masters" he learned the hard way not to disobey. They had told him to work in the fields; he did that cause he figured he could escape. He went out in to the fields slowly then made a break for it. He was caught a few minutes later by a group of six guys. He was brought back to the house and beaten so badly he couldn't move for days. He has not been punished since. He just wanted to live to see his family again. Little did he know one of his friends was not as far away as he thought.
