Kevin made his way to the gate complete in his new uniform and mask. This is when he was glad they wore something over their face. He wouldn't be spotted as easily. As he walked to the gate the other guard nodded hello to him. Kevin nodded back and walked though. 'ok that was one. I just gotta keep up the act.' Kevin thought to himself. He walked in to the main lobby of the prison and up to the desk.
"What do you need soldier?" The man said in an accent. Kevin tried to dublicate it as best he could. It was part of his training after he was freed.
"I am here about the Jahed slave." Kevin stated. 'Wow that was pretty good.' Kevin said to himself on the accent he just did. The man seemed to buy it.
"I see. Why do you need to see him?" He asked, knowing Jahed was just there the day before.
"Jahed said he wanted me to see if he has learned his lesson. It seems the work is piling up at his home and needs the slave to get it done." Kevin said hoping the man would lead him to Nick.
"Yes yes, that is understandable." The man said and grabbed the keys and lead Kevin back to the cells.
"He is in the 7th cell down." The man said. Kevin nodded his thanks and went down. He heard the cell bars close. '7th cell down. That is one from the other door.' He noted. He walked past all the cells to the other door to see what was on the other side. He opened the door to see a hallway with two windows and a door at he other end. 'ok I can take Nick out the front since they know Jahed wants him back.' He thought. He never expected the lil surprise that awaited him. He took out the set of keys that the guard he took the uniform from, had in his pocket and headed towards the cell.

AJ heard the cell bars open and a guard come in and AJ huddled in the corner. 'it is to soon for them to come for me he thought. He saw the guard walk past the cell and sighed with relief. The guard looked though the other door then turned around and came back to the cell. 'oh no' AJ thought to himself. He saw the guard place the key in to the lock and open the cell door. The guard looked up and spotted Nick. The guard looked around the out side as if making sure no one was coming.
"Nick?" The guard whispered bending down over Nick. AJ was confused guards didn't do that. "Nick, man wake up." The guard said again. AJ didn't wan Nick getting hurt again so he spoke up.
"Sir? I think you want me." AJ said just loud enough for the man to hear. The guard looked over at AJ. His eyes lit up.
"AJ!" The guard said just above a whisper. And came over to him. AJ stayed huddled. "Don't be scared. It is me." The guard said and took off the mask. AJ smiled.
"Kevin!" He gasped. "Nick said you were going to come." He whispered so not to draw attention to themselves.
"Ok getting Nick out wasn't gonna be hard cause they knew why he would be leaving. But I didn't know you were here. It will be tough." Kevin said sadly.
"It is ok Kev. Get Nick out of here. He can't take much more." AJ said.
"No you're going to come too. I will think of something." Kevin said. That's when Kevin thought of those windows he saw and the hallway. "Come on." He said helping AJ to his feet. Kevin noticed that AJ too was beat up. "Can you walk?" he asked
"Yea. But what about Nick?" AJ asked.
"I will come back for him." Kevin said putting the mask over his face. "Ok now what should I say if someone sees me taking you out?" Kevin asked.
"Tell them your taking me to be punished." AJ said. "They will know what you are talking about." He finished sadly. Kevin nodded and took him out of the cell. He went down that hallway and looked out the far door. To many people out that way. She slowly opened the window and looked out side. He saw two guards walk around the corner.
"Ok it is time for their shift change. See those bushes over there?" Kevin asked and pointed to a big group of bushes about 50 yards away. AJ nodded. "You have 2 min to get there before the other guards come around again. Can you do it?" Kevin asked and AJ nodded. "Ok out you go." Kevin said and helped AJ out of the window. AJ half limped half jogged to the bushes. He made it just in time. The 2 guards came just as he hit the bushes. Kevin turned and went back to the cell.
"Nick wake up man." Kevin said looking at Nicks bruised face. Nick slowly opened his eyes and looked up in fear.
"Nick it is me Kevin." Kevin said and took off the mask to show him. Nick relaxed. "Lets go." Kevin helped the injured Nick up. Just then 2 guards came in.
"Hey you!" Kevin looked up. "Where is the other guy that was in here?" one asked.
"Oh they took him to be beaten again. " Kevin said the laughed. He needed to act the part. The two nodded and left. Kevin went back to helping Nick up. Kevin took him through the main lobby. Nick was worried and scared that they were going to be cought but didn't speak.
"Well I guess the slave has learned who is boss huh." The same man behind the desk said to Kevin.
"Yea. He realized how lucky he was." Kevin said in an accent and laughed. Then continued to walk Nick out of the prison. Kevin had to walk around to where AJ was the long way so not to cause suspision.
"What about AJ?" Nick asked.
"He is out. We are going to him." Kevin said as they walked. They finally reached AJ. "We can't stay here. The hide out is about 30 minutes from here." Kevin said. "AJ can you walk on your own?" Kevin asked and he nodded. The three men slowly and carefully made their way to the hide out hoping not to be seen.
