He looked over to the counter to see a woman about 5'3 checking in the found person. She had brown hair a bit past her shoulders and even though he couldn't see her face at that moment he knew she had hazel eyes. This woman too also helped to free slaves. Kevin had met her at training camp. She was 21 at the time they met and he kind of took her under his wing to help her through missing her family. Her family was gone. Taken away by the Talaban like many Americans. She and her family are from Long Island but since they were visiting Florida at the time of the take over, her family was taken in. She was able to get away after being separated from her family.

Kevin smiled a little when he remembered her face the first day of his training. Her jaw dropped for a minute in surprise.

"Wait, aren't you Kevin from the Backstreet Boys?" She had asked him shocked.

"Yea I am." He replied. "You heard of us?" He joked trying to lighten the mood. She had smiled at him and nodded. Then she had asked about the others and if he knew if they were ok. Kevin could only shake his head at the time. "No I don't. I wish I did." He had said softly to her.

"Looks like we were both left alone." She said to him looking down. He pulled her into a hug.

"Well we're not alone anymore, are we?" Kevin said more as a statement then a question.

The two have been friends ever since. Three years have passed and she is now 24. He walked over to the counter.

"Hey there stranger." He said and she turned to look at him. "I haven't seen you in, let's see about a month now." He said and she smiled widely at him.

"Kevin! I am so glad to see you!" She said and wrapped her arms around him in a hug.

"I'm glad to see you too Rachel." Kevin smiled " Have you found any of your family yet?" Kevin asked softly and Rachel frowned.

"Not yet. But I haven't lost hope." She said quietly. "What about you?" She asked. Kevin took her hand and led her to where Brian and Angel were sleeping.

"I found them." He said pointing to the sleeping figures. Rachel smiled.

"That's great!" and Kevin took her hand again.

"There's more." He said and brought her into the infirmary over to a now awake AJ and a sleeping Nick.

"Oh my God." Rachel gasped. "I can't believe it!"

"Hi Alex." Kevin said and smiled.

"Hey Kev. Who is this lovely young lady?" AJ said and Kevin laughed. AJ was still AJ flirting with the ladies. Rachel blushed.

"This is Rachel. I have known her for almost 3 years. I met her in training camp." Kevin said.

"Hi AJ. How are you feeling?" Rachel asked concerned even though she wasn't sure what really happened to him.

"I'm feeling much better the rest did me good." AJ smiled.

"How is Nick? Did they say anything?" Kevin asked AJ.

"Well the Doc said he was banged up pretty bad but with rest he should be ok." AJ said looking over at Nick. 

"That's ok. We need to lay low for a while anyway. People are beginning to catch on and I don't want to get caught." Kevin said putting his hand though his hair.

"Yea we have to stay here for a few days." Rachel said and leaned against the near wall. "While I was out today everyone was talking about the resent escapes. All of us freedom fighters are to stop freeing slaves for the next week so in that time the Talaban will think it has ended and no more will escape. So we will wait here for a week and that should give Nick and Alex enough time to get well." Rachel said looking really tired. Kevin told her she should get some sleep since no one was going anywhere for a week. She nodded and they said a good night and left AJ to rest and Kevin brought Rachel to the sleeping quarters.

"Get some rest. I'll wake you with any news." Kevin said and Rachel nodded. She quickly fell asleep from fatigue and from the adrenaline from an escape had worn off.
